Launches Financial Empowerment Program For Women and Girls (FLEP)
On Thursday September 13, 2012, Sisters In Spirit launched
the The Financial Literacy Education Program (FLEP) for women and
girls that's designed to educate participants on how to establish
sound financial habits and actively participate in their own
financial well-being.
An array of the most savvy financial advisors, bankers, entrepreneurs,
credit experts and abundance consciousness spiritual and
motivational speakers in the country will participate as
facilitators in this
ten-month financial literacy program. Through a series of webinars
and live workshops our facilitators will empower participants to
make informed, responsible financial choices and will lay the
foundation for a generation of competent, confident and financially
savvy women.
The FLEP is a component of the Sisters in Spirit, Inc, Empowerment Series for
women and girls and is made possible by a Community Action Grant
from the American Association of University Women.
